Who says sophisticated interior design can't be comfy?
Let's kick off today's show with interior designer Natalie Cray, aim at her clients apartment on Fifth Avenue. Using colorful art and bold statement pieces, Natalie was able to find the perfect balance between sophistication and pure comfort, both inside and out. We joined her for a tour of this elegant home that features not only timeless design, but I clinic New York views. I've only got a week. Hi, I'm Natalie from Natalie Cream Interiors, lecturing your design firm located here in New York when my clients and visit my help to design this Fifth Avenue apartment. She had two requirements to make it elegant and comfortable for her growing family together. So let me take you the tour around one of my most beautiful apartments that I designed. Follow me, please. Here in the living room, the artwork sets the tone. We brought in different shades of green and deal to make it feel like an extension off Central Park, which is right outside this window. Specific requirement that we needed to fulfill was to accommodate every family member from my clients growing family. A large section I'll cover in a child friendly velvet makes a space cozy and serene. One of my favorite furniture pieces are these two coffee tables we designed. This stone is as the rebel as it is beautiful. We also designed this stunning custom area rug. I love how the rack the linear space separating the dining from the living area. Who wouldn't want to relax in this beautiful room? A. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room in here. We removed the closet to create a custom bar way suspended this chandelier over the dining table. One trick we often used to make a space feel larger is to apply mirror on glass surfaces. But if you want to dine alfresco, follow me. One of the things that makes this apartment so unique are the beautiful two terraces overlooking the free gallery on central parts. It almost feels like an extension off this city. We trap the terrorists with planters and tall trees to make it a little safer for my clients grandchildren. His face is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the views. Imagine waking up in this master bedroom everyday. A key to my design is to create luxury and comfort the master bedroom, masculine, elegant and glamourous way use the architectures and dropped ceilings to our advantage. We custom design a floor to ceiling headboard and use soft blue shades to anchor the space. His room's inspiration was also the exterior development pattern on the bed dissembled the clouds in the sky. We use a mix of different textures from this mohair. Avenge the flash carpet. Every detail makes a difference. The custom desk and night stands provided perfect amount of storage. And who can forget this second terrace? Perfect for having breakfast. E.
