The Range Rover Evoque, the luxury compact SUV for the city and beyond, is even more sophisticated and digitally connected for the 2021 model year with the Land Rover brand’s most advanced infotainment system among other new technologies, expanded driver assistance features, and heightened interior refinement. Designed to blend city living with country escapism, the 2021 Range Rover Evoque builds on the original’s enduring appeal with a purposeful and precise evolution of its instantly recognizable silhouette.

The super-slim LED headlights, standard across the Evoque model range, provides a sophisticated front

The profile of the 2021 Evoque remains the same with its distinctive fast roofline and rising beltline. The SUV’s proportions are amplified by its pronounced shoulders and wheel arches that, alongside available 21-inch wheels, combine to create a dynamic attitude. The super-slim LED headlights, standard across the Evoque model range, provides a sophisticated front and rear lamp graphic, while flush door handles add to the sculpted aesthetic. Stretching across the rear of the vehicle is a striking black accent that creates a sense of visual width.

There is more rear leg and knee room for occupants thanks to the 20.32mm longer wheelbase, introduced for the 2020 model year, while also providing more foot space thanks to new seat mounting points. The dual touchscreens of the new Pivi Pro infotainment system are the focal point, with its beautiful clean design neatly integrates the technology with rotary dials. The cabin of the 2021 Range Rover Evoque is even more refined, with a new three-spoke, multi-function steering wheel with switches, as well as enhanced first-row seating with lumbar support and satin chrome seat switch controls is offered standard on all trims. The satin chrome gearshift paddles are new with the premium interior pack and feature premium carpet mats, illuminated treadplates with Range Rover script, ebony suede cloth headliner, bright metal pedals, and premium cabin lighting.

The 2021 Range Rover Evoque now employs a state-of-the-art Pivi Pro infotainment system, fitted standard across the Evoque model range. The system is underpinned by a new Electrical Vehicle Architecture first introduced on the Land Rover Defender. Featuring two embedded Qualcomm LTE modems, the new electrical architecture is designed for seamless connectivity and a quick startup time. The system also has high-performance Snapdragon processors and an advanced QNX operating system for a responsive and intuitive experience. The touchscreen-operated Pivi Pro infotainment system includes its own separate rechargeable power source. The 2021 Range Rover Evoque features a new optional wireless device charging pad within the storage area behind the available lower touch screen.

Other technology updates include an expanded suite of available Advanced Driver Assistance features. The new Rear Collision Monitor uses radar to constantly monitor the rear of the vehicle, while the introduction of a standard 3D Surround Camera provides a view of what’s happening around the vehicle at speeds of up to 30kmph. These new systems complement the ClearSight Ground View and ClearSight Rear View Mirror technologies introduced in the Range Rover Evoque for 2020.

The 2021 Range Rover Evoque comes in five trim levels, all powered by the same 2.0L turbocharged Ingenium petrol I4 engine that churns out 246bhp of maximum power output and 364Nm of peak torque with prices ranging from $43,300 (Rs 32.11 lakh) to $53,400 (Rs 39.60 lakh). But that's the only powertrain on offer, as Land Rover has stripped the P300 mild hybrid option from the lineup. The P300 mild-hybrid used to come with the same 2.0-litre turbo-four paired with an electric motor and 48-volt electrical system but developed 296bhp and 400Nm of peak torque. All Evoque models come standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
